1. Our Position
Strat-Bridge is committed to conducting its business in an ethical and responsible manner.
We recognise the importance of preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms, including forced labour, servitude, human trafficking and exploitation within business operations, supply chains and third-party relationships.
Strat-Bridge operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.
2. Legal Framework
This statement is aligned with the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Strat-Bridge does not currently meet the turnover threshold that requires publication of an annual modern slavery statement under section 54 of the Act. We publish this statement voluntarily, and adopt the principles of the legislation as part of our standard business practices.
3. Our Business
Stratbridge Ltd (trading as Strat-Bridge) is an executive search business specialising in the management consulting industry.
We work with consulting firms and senior leaders across the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, wider Europe and the United States, primarily on Partner, Principal and Director-level appointments and consulting team moves.
We are a small professional services business. Our operations do not involve manufacturing, physical supply chains or low-skilled labour supply.
4. Risk Assessment
As a professional services firm operating in recruitment, our primary exposure is through candidate placements, client relationships and third-party suppliers.
We recognise that modern slavery risks may arise in:
- supply chains, particularly where services are outsourced
- client engagements where working conditions are outside our direct control
- international placements or cross-border engagements
Given the seniority of the roles we work on, our size and our operating model, the overall risk is considered low, but not negligible.
5. Due Diligence and Controls
We apply reasonable and proportionate due diligence in our operations. This includes:
- working with reputable clients and organisations
- ensuring clarity over the nature of roles and employment arrangements
- considering the nature of the client, the role being filled, and any indicators of unusual or potentially exploitative working arrangements
- avoiding engagement in situations that appear exploitative, unlawful or inconsistent with expected standards
- carrying out right to work checks where required
We do not operate formal supplier audit programmes due to the size of the business, but we exercise professional judgement in selecting and maintaining relationships.
6. Our Commitments
We are committed to ensuring that:
- individuals we place are engaged in legitimate and lawful employment
- our business relationships reflect appropriate ethical standards
- potential risks are identified and addressed appropriately
We do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or within the organisations we work with, including our supply chains. Strat-Bridge will not proceed with or continue engagements where there is a reasonable concern regarding modern slavery.
7. Raising Concerns
Any concerns relating to modern slavery or human trafficking should be raised promptly.
External parties may raise concerns through our Complaints Procedure or by contacting us directly at info@strat-bridge.com.
8. Review
We review our approach to modern slavery periodically and update our practices where appropriate. As the business grows, we will consider whether additional controls or formal processes are required.
